Role title: Chief of Staff

Where is this role in the org chart?
Core responsibilities:
- Ensure effective cross-functional coordination and collaboration
- Own our company goal setting process
- Provide leverage to the CEO on special projects and communication to the Board and investors
Expected projects in the next 12 months:
- Build and run the Culture operating system (OS): goal-setting processes, meetings, and analytics that make our cross-functional leadership team effective.
- Run OKR and annual goal-setting processes
- Own team-leads meeting (key ~15 cross functional leaders at the business), executive team meetings, and board meetings
- Build dashboards, data analytics, and KPIs that enable team leads and executives to make good decisions in real time.
- Collect feedback from leaders about the status/structure of meetings, goal-setting, and analytics and adapt/improve as needed.
- Work with the CEO to hire, recruit, and onboard executives and team leads.
- Provide leverage to the CEO in preparing for board meetings and to assist with fund-raising activities.
- Strategic, special projects. Example could include:
- Building an S&OP process
- Building models of our supply chain and operational capacity
- Analyzing market opportunities
- Do customer research to identify a new market or a new go-to-market approach
- Research expansion locations in the United States and globally
